A lot has been said about the state of Israel in current years, as it faces both regional and political conflicts. It has definitely had its fair share of controversy.This project takes a look at the current protest embroiling Israeli society. It showcases those protesting the current government and its head, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.To learn more about the reasons behind the protests read anyone of these articles:

PART I

Held in the centre of Tel Aviv, this protest occurred instantaneously after the Prime Minister sacked his minister of defence for defying his plan to reform the judiciary.

PART II

With an estimated 600,000 people in attendance, many groups with different causes used the protest as a platform to project their voice.

From Palestinian causes to war veterans and medical doctors, many groups were present. Many unique and creative signs were made. One example includes the Handmaid's Tale, where women dressed in red reenacted the ritual of the characters from Margret Atwood's novel of the same name.


Part III

As the protest carried on, a number of luminaries from Israeli society took to the stage to address the crowd of cheering protesters.

Some of the largest protests in Israel occurred in March of 2023. These demonstrations and the sentiment are still very much alive in Israel today.People from all walks of life came together to call for change and to protect their democracy. Showing that when Israeli's come together there is nothing they can't do.
